Instructor: Dwight Davis, Host of “Morning Classics”, WHRO, and Wolfhound Grandfather Class Location: Saint Patrick Catholic School, Spend an evening in the parlour with Dwight Davis. He’ll take us back over a century ago, and share music that was made in the home, on the piano, with guests and family singing along. Later, that new-fangled invention, the phonograph, supplied an even wider range of entertainment. You’re invited to enjoy a program of music from this more genteel time, with old-fashioned music that can still move us today. Come into the parlour and get lost in the music of yesteryear, beneath the potted palms. Dwight Davis has been host of "Morning Classics" on WHRO-FM for over 40 years. He is a graduate of Norview High School and Elon College and served in the US Army in Germany.
