123 COFFEE BREWING 101

Food, Wine, and Entertaining

Discover the art and science of great coffee in our Coffee Brewing 101 class at Fr8 House Coffee! Hosted by Saint Patrick alumnus Jack Wagner (Class of 2010) and former Saint Patrick teacher Chealsea Fox, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to elevate their home brewing game. In this interactive session, you’ll learn how to brew with confidence using a variety of methods, from the rich pressure of the moka pot and espresso machine, to the smooth immersion of the French press, and the clean precision of the pour-over. Jack and Chealsea will guide you through the fundamentals of grind size, water temperature, brew ratios, and technique to help you bring out the best in every bean. Whether you’re just starting your coffee journey or perfecting your morning ritual, you’ll leave with the skills (and caffeine buzz!) to brew like a pro. CLASS LOCATION: FR8 House Coffee, 2330 Bowdens Ferry Road, Norfolk in The Railyard at Lambert's Point. CLASS TIME: 7:00-9:00 pm.
